8" Sub BOX recommendations...
Typically somewhere it will say the coil configuration, I would assume that if it didn't mention it was a DVC (dual voice coil), then we could assume that is a single coil... I typed in Polk MOMO 8inch sub into google and from what I read, it is a DVC 4ohm. Another way to tell is to see how many + and - connections there are on the basket of the speaker itself. Do you physically have the sub yet? Whatever the case you are going to want to match the RMS rating for the sub to the RMS rating of the amp, going a little over will not make much difference (although it can).
I personally wouldn't go with that 8". HAve you looked at the HERTZ 8". Absolute killer and in a small small box too. Next on my list is the Arc Audio SE 8". HERTZ is better though for what it is, but the Arc is right there behind it, although I think the Arc is cheap price wise...............
