8" subs & amp?
Ok, I'm planning on going with four 8" Kicker Comp Series subs behind the back seat of my 91 Chevy crew cab. Now what's best for this, a Pioneer GM-6500F 4 channel amp bridged putting out 180 watts x 2 channels at 4 ohms running two pairs of 8 ohm 8" Comp Series subs wired in parallel so they are at 4 ohms? Or a Pioneer GM-5500T 2 channel amp putting out 190 watts x 2 channels at 2 ohms running two pairs of 4 ohm 8" Comp Series subs wired in parallel so they are at 2 ohms?

I'd go with the 2 channel as its just a bit more simple. No need to gain match between pairs of channels. You're even better off with their 400w RMS monoblock with four 8 ohm kickers. It's smaller and more efficient.

Are talking about this Kicker amp?: Kicker ZX400.1 (10ZX400.1) Class D Mono Amplifier Car Amp I guess I could run four 8 ohm subs in parallel to get 2 ohms. Would the Pioneer GM-D8601 amp work good too? It's 500 watts at 2 ohms 1 channel, would that be to much amp for the Kicker Comp subs? I'm asking because all of the rest of the system is gonna be Pioneer with the exception of the subs, and the Pioneer amp is cheaper. Pioneer amp: Pioneer GM-D8601 800W RMS Class D Monoblock Car Amplifier

Are you planning to order from Sonics?
Between those two, I'd determinately go with the Pioneer. And later on you could run it at one ohm for more power if you change out the subs. The comps will be fine on 500w RMS.
