90 Accord wiring tips....
I got this buddy's 90 Accord and he wants me to wire all the amps and stuff up. But I haven't seen his car and don't have any ideas where to put the interconnects and power/speaker wire. How are you guys doing it. He doesn't want to see the wire anywhere but the trunk. Where are the best places for the wire?
For amp power and rca wires, what I did was run the wire under the step plates. They pop off easy and there is room for the wires underneath. I ran the power wires down the passenger side and the RCA's down the drivers side. The back seat folds down so you can squeeze the wires through the back of the seat and the seat. All this was very easy to do.
If he is using an amp to power the front speakers then what i did for that was hook the back 6x9's directly up to the amp. To power the front speakers, I then used the rear speaker factory wires to run from the amp to the decks wiring harness. I then cut these wires right before the harness and spliced these wires to the factory front speaker wires...kinda sounds confusing so let me know if this makes any sense. Oh, hopefully he already has an aftermarket deck in there because getting the OEM out is a bit of a pain in the ***

Yea I understand what you meant...I figured it would be that easy...but what about his door panels? Are they just snap on ones, or do you have to have a special tool to get them off without breaking something. And yea he's got a CDA 9815 already.
