Adjust bass levels on the fly

Whats the best and easiest way to adjust bass levels in between songs and stuff. I know that some wire a remote switch in to the sub itself and do it that way but a lot of decks have sub control now and I am wondering if that is easier/better. Sometimes I feel like a lot of bass and others I just want a little.

Have a look at the Audiocontrol Epicenter. That will do the job just fine. You can also look into getting a crossover or a line driver with remote bass boost. Some even have parametric eq's, frequency control and bass boost that can all be controlled remotely. Very handy stuff to have at your fingertips...

I used to have a wired remote boost control on my sub amp. Now I have a Kenwood deck with sub volume control. IMO so much easier controlling it through the deck. Not to mention no extra ***** to install. If you can adjust it from the deck perfect, if not just use a wired remote from the amp. As long as you aren't adjusting the actual gain on the amp you will be fine either way.

Thanks. I think I will look for a deck with sub control as that seems easier and a little cleaner install.

A properly tuned system shouldn't need to be adjusted every time a new song comes on the radio....have you done that or had someone else do it for you?

Getting the system set-up correctly will help with this problem.....I would try that first before I started spending money on new equipment......

Thanks. No set-up yet, I am still trying to piece together all my equipment. Still the stock setup until I can decide what I should put into my truck. This is what I am thinking so far if anyone wants to comment.
