Yes but it would be a much better idea to run a single larger amp.

What model and impedence are the subs?
The MTX will give some nice power bridged and may be all you need but it will depend on the sub impedence.

Then you could use the Legacy ( ) for fullrange speakers.

the subs are 300w rms. so the mtx should be enough 2 push both subs, but bridged?

Since the MTX is only 2ohm stereo stable the only way to wire both subs to it would be in series with the amp bridged at 8ohms or wired in stereo. Either way each sub will only see ~100rms.

You could try matching the outputs between the two amps and running one on each sub but it really isn't worth it as the Legacy won't do much.

IMO, if you need/will need in future an amp to run some mids/tweets, keep the MTX as it will be perfect for this and look for an amp that can handle 2ohm mono. A MTX 6500D would be perfect and would match.

If you don't need an amp for mid/tweets, sell both amps and get something capable of 2ohm mono.

try it first, before you get discouraged...

maybe the setup will be loud enough for you.

of course, if you have the money, check out the for sale section here, as you can probably find tons of amps in the category you'd be looking for..

but if you dont want to drop any more cash, try it and see if you like it...you can always upgrade equipment, thats quite easy
