Well I just hooked up my ipod to the AUX of my 9815 (with the ai-net cable). Anyways i am noticing a strong static noise when i turn the volume up past 20. I even unhooked the ipod and the ainet cable so there was nothing hooked up but it still made the noise. This ONLY happens when the alpine is set to AUX. No problem with cd's or the radio. Anyone know if this is normal? You 9815 owners should try setting the deck to the auxilary and cranking the volume...wondering if its just me.. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

yea my car is amplified but i have both amps gains all the way down..hmm

 

I actually tested with my XM unit, no noise. Unplugged XM unit just leaving AI-Net cable, and it was still fine. Maybe the cable?
