Alpine MRV-F357 need a sub?

Hey guys, I've learned alot from this site, but I have a questions for you all. I just purchased the Alpine MRV-F357 because it was (or what I thought was) a 4 channel amp. Now that I have it, I see that is is a 4 channel plus a sub. I already have a amp for my subs, I just wanted to add an amp for my front speakers. If I continue to use the other amp for the subs and just wire up the front speakers to the alpine will it hurt anything? or mess up the amp?

Thanks

Would anything happen if I just left the sub inputs and outputs not connected to anything?
