Alpine RCA cables ??

I was at a Best Buy today and noticed Alpine RCA cables & speaker wire. They were branded Type X, S, E to correlate with Alpine part delineation.

I don't see such items on the Alpine website. Are these just re-branded by some other manufacturer and exclusive to BB?

they were legitimate alpine cables, but they are AFAIK all DIsco. the type X and type R cables are pretty good quality. But you can find them a good bit cheaper from a local alpine retailer than buying them at a big box store.

The big box guys sell radios for free and rape you on accessories.

Yeah, something seemed off when I saw them and couldn't find any further info from Alpine directly. Anyway, I went with the Streetwires ZN7 series and so far so good.
