Hi guys, I found an old sub laying around the basement. It's an Alpine Type R 12", I bought it about 6 years ago before I was married. I'm just wondering if any of you could give me dimensions or measurements on what the proper box is for this sub. I'm thinking of putting my carpentry to the test and building a box for this puppy which has been wasting away in my basement.
The only details I can give you are the sub is 1000w peak and 300w rms. That's all I know.

 

It's probably a SWR-1221D model. I think you also need to decide on ported or sealed. I'd say ported though.
