You must admit that there were an extremely unually high number of praise threads about one shop coming out though. Hey, honestly I never noticed and really, didn't care, since we have no shops advertising and no competing shops were complaining. That's just me though and possibly others seemed an onslaught like that as undue promotion. What can I say - I don't know.

"...I also think it's unfair for all topics pertaining to sound deadener besides certain types are closed.. but hey what do I know.."

That plain does NOT happen unless other rules such as SELLING take place. As I have said in the past, my personal favorite of all time damping line is Cascade. I love that stuff and would use it exclusively in a heartbeat. I have yet to use a competing product that has satisfied me as completely. Now THAT is a testimonial. Now if I offered to sell you some or 'let you know where to get it' then that raises some issues. See the difference?
Incidentally you could substitute any item and any brand in there and the rules would be the same - as a group the mods are actually quite relaxed on this unless it gets blatant.
Maybe I was a little harsh.. I'm sorry if it came out that way.. but all I see is 3 young men trying to make a living.. and it seems like when anything is said good, it turns into a ****storm.. and it would suck if i were in that situation..

And I was misinformed about some sound deadener posts

I would just like to say Thank you for all the mods who answered some of the questions that I was having.

Like I said before I really like this board and this is one of the reasons I am so much more involved in car audio.

I do however have to point out one thing. Anyone of you if you are a shop owner, work at a shop, or plain and simply buy from a shop you would do the same thing as the guys from Perfect Tones. Nobody likes to be cut down and made fun of, and if any of you say that you would not stick up for yourselves you are LIERS!

I personally know the guys from Perfect Tones and they are three intelligent and very nice guys. They know their stuff and they treat their customers awesome. I was in their shop a few days ago and I saw them deal with some customers and plain and simple they were good! They have always treated me with the highest respect as well as everyone else I have seen them deal with so why not return that same respect.

In no way shape or form is this a advertisement for their shop, this is a post to tell you the guys at Perfect Tones are god guys and people need to lay off. You all know who you are, if you have a problem with my suggestion e-mail me martinec@genuinecanadianaudio.com don't flame me on the board their is no need.

P.S. I would do this for anyone who is unjustly being flamed.

There is a reason why those posts have been closed. Now, there would be no problem if someone came on and said, hey, I got work done at *****, they did a good job. Ok great, then maybe a post or two from some other people who may have had a similar problem. I don't think that's a big deal. The problem is, however, when a person comes on, for no reason, and starts to bash that shop. Then it turns into a cat fight.
Without that unwanted post, there wouldn't excessive posts, as well as constant bickering, am I correct?
Also, the fact that that person (who starts the flaming) hasn't recevied bad service/goods, or has even dealt with the shop is also what contributes to this factor. (I mean it might be different if he had a bad experience, but then that could be it's own post, leave the others alone)
That's just my opinion, simply because I feel that posts like that are unwarranted, and don't belong here.

Mrs. Audio: not to change the subject, but where in the Nine Hells did you get eD components?

I really need to clarify coming soon. The car is a complete work in progress and my list is what I am going to have next year.

Now with the eD components because we are the eD Canadian distributor, Ben has promised me a set first once the testing is done on them.

The perks of my wooden spoon!
