AMP and capacitor suggestions
I have two MTX 10s THUNDER TC510 @ 300 WATTS RMS POWER and MAX POWER of 900 WATTS. I was wondering if anyone can suggest what type of amp I should be running with these subs. My deck is a SOUNDSTREAM VIR 8007.
Also I've been looking around and I was wondering if these amps are any good:
1) MTX THUNDER TC4002 1200W 2-CH AMP
Max Power : 1200 W
Rated Power :
100 W x 2 @ 4 Ohms
200 W x 2 @ 2 Ohms
400 W x 1 @ 4 Ohms
Signal to Noise Ratio : 80 dB
Frequency Response (-3 dB) : 20 Hz - 20 kHz
Max Input Signal : 5 V
Max Sensitivity : 100 mV
Smart Engage Auto Turn-On
Hi-Pass/Lo-Pass Crossover : 40 Hz - 350 Hz, 12dB/oct
ThunderEq (bass boost) : 0 - 18 dB, Frequency 40 Hz
Dimensions : 14-3/8" L x 9-7/8" W x 2-3/8" H
Bass Boost Remote Included
2) MTX THUNDER TC3002 900W AMP
Max Power : 900 W
Rated Power :
75 W x 2 @ 4 Ohms
150 W x 2 @ 2 Ohms
300 W x 1 @ 4 Ohms
Signal to Noise Ratio : 80 dB
Frequency Response (-3 dB) : 20 Hz - 20 kHz
Max Input Signal : 5 V
Max Sensitivity : 100 mV
Smart Engage Auto Turn-On
Hi-Pass/Lo-Pass Crossover : 40 Hz - 350 Hz, 12dB/oct
ThunderEq (bass boost) : 0 - 18 dB, Frequency 40 Hz
Dimensions : 11-3/8" L x 9-7/8" W x 2-3/8" H
Bass Boost Remote Included
So if anyone can suggest any one of these amps or a different type of amp that would be great and also can anyone suggest a type of capacitor as well.
