amp to go with the JBLs

hey guys, im new to this forum. i was wondering what amp i should grab since im grabbing the JBL 12" Dual Subwoofer Ported Box (GTO1204BP-D).

Power Handling Max 1800W
Power Handling Nominal 300W RMS
Frequency Response 30Hz-150Hz
Full Range No
Impedance 2 x 4 Ohms
Sensitivity 96 dB

any suggestions?

Welcome.

You want to look at getting a Monoblock Class D Amp (designed for powering subwoofers) that will do between 500rms - 800rms @ 2 ohm load

try the jbl gto7001 it works well and it gives you 700wrms@ 2ohms

Budget for your new amp, I am sitting on some that I am going to let go a little lower priced than normal.

Just curious, what kind of price are you talking about that is a "little lower priced than normal"?

I have some stock to get moved. Some of it is priced below normal dealer cost, some of it just has to go, others well, deals need to be done while I am am not at my business. (I am in Whistler as part of the Olympic Security Contingent).
