Amp Issues?

Hey there! Im new here, but here for a reason. Looking for some advice for a problem.

A couple months ago my sub start to cut out. Randomly in and out. This was before winter. Over the winter I removed my system and have now just recent put it back in.

The sub does not want to work now. SO basically Im looking to find the problem.

The amp powers on, and Ive also check all grounds and connections.

One thing that seems kind of weird, is that the RCA jacks on the amp have freeplay. As in you plug the wires into the jacks, and you can move the jack assembly around a bit. It appears maybe they are loose?

Suggestions?

To check the loose RCA's, just use a DMM to see whether the amp is putting out any power through the speaker leads. If there is no voltage then the problem could be rcas. If there is voltage the problem is with your sub.
