i'm not sure what's wrong with my amp but it keeps cutting in and out. so sometimes the subs would stop playing for a bit then start playing again for bit. i don't think anything was loose and the car i tested it in was parked with the key in the ignition. anybody know the problem? can u guys recommend a place to fix this in the gta?

Almost sounds like your trying to put more of a load (Lesser ohms) than what the amp can handle. If your running the amp bridged,, try switching it to stereo for starters..

I had a MTX that did the same thing.. had a thermistor in it that would shut the amp off to cool down when running to hot. then come back on again.

HAS IT JUST STARTED DOING THIS AFTER WORKING FINE FOR SOME TIME. OR WAS IT JUST INSTALLED AND NOT WORKING RIGHT OFF THE BAT? ANY WARNING LIGHTS ON THE AMP? CHECKED ALL YOUR CABLES AND GROUND CONNECTIONS? IS THE AMP REALLY HOT?
MANY THINGS COULD BE THE CAUSE. IF YOUR NOT SURE TAKE IT TO A LOCAL SHOP AND PAY A HALF HOUR LABOUR FOR THEM TO CHECK IT OUT

Double checked all your connections at both the amp and deck end?

Sounds like something's flaky. Amp side. RCA inputs.

Does the amp stay on when it cuts out?
Does it come back if you give the amp a smack?
