just wondering.. would it be alright if i had a amp that has a higher power rating then the sub it self? im just wondering if its safe or not?

yes. you will be fine as long as you dont have a posessed volume finger.

LoL thanks!.. yea the amp was pretty much a impulse buy got it for a amazing price [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] gosh i cant wait to install it.. sooo any other confirmations that this is okie ? soo im pretty much running full power for my sub right?

The lower the gain, the better the output quality you'll have, concerning clean power.

Ummm, I would've went with the SWS-1241, not the SWS-1241D ... Bridging the 300S to 2 ohms is just asking for trouble ...

If it's bridged and wired in parallel, yes ...

The SWS-1241D is a dual 4 ohm driver, meaning the coils can either be wired in parallel (2 ohms) or series (8 ohms) ...
