I got a friend with an old Kenwood Kac - 528 stereo/bridgeable Amp. I can't really find any info on this Amp which I thought was strange. He never used it as he got his from his cousin but never installed. Anyways, my brother left me two Rockford P210D4 10" Punch Stage 2, 4 Ohm. So I was wondering if that Amp is going to be good enough to get these Rockford subs pumping. I am very new to car audio so bare with me heh. I'm not necessarily looking for top notch quality just something decent.

The guy with the Kenwood Amp is asking $100. Too much?

Yes $100 for that amp is too much.

The amp is rated for 35rmsx2 or 100rmsx1 bridged. It will not be a good match for your subs.

whoops, you are right the manual was staring at me through one of my google searches. I was focused on websites giving me specs :S
The Rockford speakers are 250 RMS right? Does that mean I need 500 RMS amp to power the two?

 

500 RMS would be nice. You have several wiring options.
Wire each woofer in parallel so each presents a 2 ohm load.
You could then run them in stereo off a 2 channel amp or 2 mono amps.

Wire each woofer in series and then wire them together in parallel so they present a 4 ohm load. You could then use a 2 channel amp bridged to one channel or one mono amp.

Wire each woofer in in parallel and then wire them together in parallel so they present a 1 ohm load. You would need a 1 ohm stable amp which can get expensive.
