I'm looking for a new amp to power my 2-10" Eclipse SW6102.4 subs. Right now, i have an eclipse EA3422 (4 channel amp, bridged) pumping out ~140 Watts a chan.
I'm upgrading my front and rear speakers so i'll be using my existing eclipse amp for that..

Eclipse PA4212
Rockford Fosgate Power 551S
Phoenix Gold Tantrum 500.2

Any suggestions?

 

I couldn't find the 4212 on the Eclipse website but if you want to have matching amplifiers stay with the Eclipse. Give those subs about 200rms apiece and they'll be fine. If you think you may want to upgrade subs in the future or add more than maybe check the For Sale forum here and you'll find lot's of power for under $700.

 

Check out that DLS A6 someone is selling on this forum. Nice piece. I also know someone selling an Xtant 1001 that would be in your price range.

 

I've got a JL 300/2 as well as a 500/5 that are both FS. Perhaps the 300/2 would be suitable?

if i were you i would look at getting a 1000 watt xtant, they are nice amps.
and you can find them ussualy for a good price, and i haven't heard to many people complain about them!

im not complaining about my 1000 xtant!
