Amp trouble

I need an amp that is 3000 watts RMS. It needs to be a monoblock amp with 2 channels. Each channel needs to be 1500 watts RMS at 2 ohm. Please help me find an amp!!

A mono block with 2 channels? Really?

How about a bassworx 3000.1d

3000 at 1 ohm

What are your plans for this amp? Why must it be a 2 channel mono amp? Most 2 board mono amps are internally bridged with 2 sets of outputs.

A couple of my teammates use to own 2 AP3k's. They liked them.

Do you mean two channels or two pairs of terminals to hook up two subs?

To be honest I'm pretty new to car audio. I was told that is what I need. I have a RE 12XXX and its a dual voice coil so I need 2 hook ups on the amp? The sub is 2500 rms and 4000 peak

you don't need a two channel amp. granted one would work.

you can just wire your voice coils appropriately in series or parallel to an impedance the amp is stable at.

finding a monoblock to put out that kind of power will probably be easier than a two channel at 1500 each.

Agreed. Just get a decent mono amp that makes about 3K and you should be more than happy in the right enclosure. The AP would be a decent amp, and can be bought for cheap. Your going to want to beef up your electrical system a little too.

So I need a 3000 watt RMS mono block @ 2 ohm?
