It just doesn't seem right that door speakers/****ty deck/no sub are still the norm.. especially when now pretty much every home theatre or ever computer audio setup has a sub included.
Honestly, if it was profitable, then they would. Honda has their crap together, NOt all young people buy Civics, sunfires or whatever just to install kick panels. if you were to measure it out, probably 0.01% of the buyers of Civics, or Caviliers actually deck out their cars with fancy sub boxes and kick panels and other high-fi crap. Most of the low end cars, like Sunfires or whatever are designed to be economical and cheap to buy. If manufactueres saw it fit to install this stereo stuff, they would. Once you start getting into the nice cars, like BMW's or Lincolns or Caddi's, They already come with great sounding stereo stuff. Like tweet pods and subs and stuff. The Lincolns I drive on a day to day basis, have excellent stereos, where as the high-end speakers dont need to be replaced, unless your outrageously picky. You've probably just been driving too many economy cars. The Brand new navigators, have stereos that are almost as good sounding as mine. and yes, they have tweeter pods and all including subs and all that good stuff
