if i was advertising isnt every post you put up yuli an advertisment of how much of a meatstick [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

you are, they would seem to fall under the same canopy. if this is the case you have advertised hundreds of times

you are publicly making it known that you are a jackass [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img] , blatant advertising of yourself

you call attention to yourself as to emphasize your qualities as totally useless [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]

it seems that by your very description of advertising all of your post are an ad for yourself, i think youve got a swoillen head judgeing by all the advertising you are doing about for yourself, btw your self promoting ads have been very effective and have portrayed yourself in an accurate light as described above

just thought i'd point that out </font>[/QUOTE]I wouldn't normally respond to something like this, but given that you've asked, I don't think that this constitutes advertising in the usual sense or at least in the manner in which it is usually interpreted on this forum. What I've normally seen on this forum as the destingushing factor positively identifying advertising is the promotion of a product "in conjunction with" pricing. Commercial shops routinely let people know of their product lines and of upcomming or innovative products on this forum without any controversy. For example, Tim mentioned an innovative technology to enhance bass that he was evaluating and selling. If Tim hadn't mentioned it I would never had known about it, so I do see this kind of post as a valuable service and component of this forum, and when it came down to discussing pricing, Tim took those inquiries to PM. There have been numerous such posts by "commercial" members in the past, and although I suppose you could make an argument that they are "advertising" if you really wanted to, I don't think that in this case given the historical context of similar posts in the past you could reasonably confirm this assertion.
