Are there any A4 B5 owners out there? I'm thinking about re-doing the sound system in my dad's '01 A4 and was wondering if anyone else has done stuff to them?

if ur looking for ideas, go to www.sounddomain.com and look up the a4's.. ull get tonnes of ideas from that site. and u can get a hold of any of the owners pertty easily

 

We have one................ but we're selling it. Rear deck is awesome for doing IB subs. I think two 15" can be done if mounted from underneath !! Kickpanels.......... all the wiring can be moved and tucked away. It's just a little bit of work.

 

I was supposed to go buy my stuff today, but my dad suggested calling Audi first to ask about the CPO warranty, and whether or not what I am adding would void it or not. The lady said "any modifications made to the vehicle may or may not void your warranty", so from that my dad gathered that I can't change any part of the current sound setup.

That pisses me off alot, because I know companies like BMW, state that any part of the car that is changed, voids that part of the warranty. i.e you change the head unit, your head unit warranty is void.

Anyone know whether or not the Audi lady knew what she was talking about or does anyone have a copy of the CPO warranty?

I have a 99.5 B5 a4 as well, and a basic install, like changed the head unit and installed a remote starter with alarm. But about the warranty, I am not sure as well.. since my warranty passes long time ago
