Question

Lookin for a somewhat cheap set of coaxials for rear fill in my jeep. I have CDT CL61's up front and just need something for the back now.

They're going to be receiving a rated 35rms each @ 4ohms. That may upgrade in the future but probably not for quite sometime. Unfortunately i can't find these speakers anywhere near me to listen to them, but i've been happy with eclipse 2way coaxials in the past (5x7's).

The price i'd be lookin at for these is $125 (Canadian Funds).

Any comments on these speakers or any other suggestions?

In related news, i spent 4hours takin my jeep apart to wire up the stereo, got about half done....i've got about a million screws to put back in, mainly for the dash. I'm hoping to have under 5 left-over screws when all is said and done lol. Got the dash completely apart and all wiring at the HU done...as well as the wires run thru to th ebottom of hte dash. Just need to run the cables under the carpet to the rear somewhere...as well as run the power wire along the passenger side.

I'll finish all of that up tommorrow, and i'll have some music again, although i'm worried i won't have enough midbass/treble with just the cdt's and the stock speakers in back....so if ya've had any experience with the above speakers, let me know!

The speakers sound just fine. MaNic! is right though, it should be front stage rear fill and as such the rear speakers are your least important. I happen to like rear fill and would use those speakers.

I'd stick with just the front stage....but they don't supply enough sound to match the bass (unless i don't push the subs to their full potential....which is...just gay). So rear fill is a necessity of some sort..gotta add some sound, and since i have a solid 35w from the front channels of the amp powerin' the cdt's may as well put something back there.

For now it will be stock speakers, but it never hurts to upgrade.
