ok right now i have a Zappco AG750 running a 18" inhuman @4ohms. i am getting the sub reconed this week and was wondering if this amp can handle a 2ohm load without any problems. if so i am going to have it dual 1ohm voice coils so i can run @ 2ohms i have been told that it can but i would like to see what you guys have to say. thanks! You cannot run this amp at 2ohms mono ! It is 2 ohm stereo stable, or 4 ohms mono.

I have my dual 4 ohm sub wired in series, and conneced in bridged mode on the amp.

this amp CAN do 2 ohm mono but only at very easy work loads

If you are going to be pushing the amp hard (for SPL etc) I would probably recommend against running it in a 2ohm configuration.

thanks for all your replies guys! i am going to giver a shot @ 2ohms i don't compete this is just my daily driver so i don't push it too much..... we will see how it sounds. thanks again!

for SPL you WOULD want to run it at 2ohms...because you have impedance rise and other things to compensate for....lower load in most cases results in more power [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
