I smoked an AG1000 running it at 2ohm mono...

I wouldn't even risk running your amp at 2ohms... it's not worth it. It's a beautiful amp (used to own one) treat it right and run it like it's sopposed too and it will last a LONG time.

thats funny we used to run our ag1000s @1 ohm never had a amp fail once.. i daily drive right now with a ag 350 down to 2 ohm mono

Thats nuts ! I tried running the amp on a lower load, and I blew fuses....
