Anyone Done major Sound damping?
On the subject of B-quiet, Does anyone know what the actual dimensions are of the Material in the Package. For the 100Sq foot B-quiet Extreme stuff I would understand it comes in 10 feet by ten feet sizes or something?
i did 2 layers on every surface of the car. i mean every surface inside and out. both sides of metal. about 3000 worth retail. and only up to the b pillar. we also went thru every tone from 2 hz up to 150, to get rid of rattle. it is now absolutely rattle free

I need to order more, I bougt 50sq.ft more then half is gone and I still have the floor to do, witch is going to be 2 layers, the doors 2 layers, the rear back wall, 3 layers, and the rest of the side walls andthe fire wall... so yeah i have to rip out some more stuff. I need to rip out the seats again, the ugly carpet, wash that to hell.. Then I have to rip the dash out, and glass that! So yeah good fun!

Everyone of my cars has been done from top to bottom.................my Regal has 3 layers of BB in the trunk and 2 in the inside. Plus the floor has 2 layers of the dynaliner max (I think that's what it is) as well as 2 layers of 3/4" carpet underlay.
My Toyota was PYSCHO !!!, even my Suburban was done top to bottom in BB.

George would like to point out to Boobleg that in the case of your old school installation that with all that tacky burgundy carpet you have you probably will not need any actual dampening materials. George uses all kinds and brands of dampening even some not intended for car audio. George recommends that you don't dampen your car as the added weight will certainly cause issues with such a old grandpa car.
George thinks you should spend the money to update your 10 year old install and bring it into the 21 century.
