crutchfield has been around for a while and is a big company. you won't have any issues dealing with them.

however, you will probably pay a premium for the product.

buy from and support a local shop. better deals, better service, and its here in Canada.

They tend to run near retail (but they do have sales) and they are fully warranted. They will send complete installation instruction for your car and usually give you tools or adaptor kits to allow an easy install.

I believe that link is to Crutchfield Canada, as an authorized retailer they have to stay close to your local retailer in price. Interestingly they excel in service after the sale. I have been a customer for 26 years.

They have 2 retail shops (both in my neck of the woods) and their business core is still car audio

Are there any other similar online dealers? Crutchfield doesn't seem to have several of the items I'm looking for :/.

Bought from them 4 times in last few years. Great customer service.
For example, they dont have speaker harness for 11 hyundai Tucsson. Upon my request they followed up sending a pair for me to cut by courier. Wow.
Their prices are matching those of BB. Give your instruction harness HU bracket free shipping. Best is for those who install themselves. Save the labor.

Other good alternative is Sonic Ele in US. Some items are cheaper than local even with all the charges. They collect brokerage duty HST so you know what you are paying, no surprise when UPS shows up your door.

Typical big box/online retailers do this to get your business. Bait & switch is illegal, but it happens. Please support your independent retailers. Their service should be better than any store with an advertising budget. Independents have word of mouth. The better the word, the more they grow.

Yup, it'll probably be around the same price. I'll need to resort to Sonic if the shop doesn't carry the stuff, unless I get persuaded to get something else .

Seriously, support your local shop, quite often they have merchandise that needs to be blown out for a low price and wouldn't you rather look at it in person before dropping your hard earned money? If everyone was to buy online, we will be running out of local shops really quick and we'll be left only with places like BB, FS, Walmart
