does your local Future Shop install 5 speed car starters??? many future shops do not. if you do buy at FS go with any Directed (Viper) brand car starter. i'm sorry but those NUSTARTS and NORDIC STARTS are junk. i have seen dozens of them sent back for repairs (including my own)in the 5yrs i worked there. not many vipers though. good luck.

Not a fan of the 2-way Vipers (transmitter issues) but the one ways are quite bullet proof and reliable. You will need an additional module for the clutch bypass so be prepared for extra cost.

Starter install $100
Clutch Bypass $50
OEM Alarm Bypass$90 (if equipped...includes door locks)
Chipped key module $50
Install of above module $50

and then the price of the unit itself.

Minimum install should run you $250 + the unit itself. Maximum $340 + unit.

Autostart 2300 Series. That LED 2-way remote is absolutely bullet proof. I love that thing. Half the people at our store have them now. I'm gonna pick up a few for xmas gifts as well.

go with a compustar for a 5 speed , they have the best reservation mode, and the 2 way is definitely the cats behind, will cost you a lot more than 3 bills though.

future shop is now stocking 2 units for standard. we have the nordic start(by autostart) ant the newstart(by compustar). My personal fave is the newstart, it has 1500 ft range and is very reliable. also as an add on we have a LCD remote and ant.
