do these clones even work, or end up causing a smoke bomb as soon as you power them?

no idea, a friend of mine sent me a picture and asked what they were worth. I have never seen an alpine like that. Ill try and get he to send me a gut shot picture

the only other amp i seen like that had the v12 in the same spot and looked to be around the same size and sahpe but it was blue? and it was 4 chanelle. we didnt know what the powering on it was and didnt know who made it but it always worked. lol. my friend got it for like 10 bucks at a flee market. (probably stolen? dunno why so cheap) but we hooked it up and it worked. doesnt even have an inline fuse for it and it still works lol.

but it loosk exactly like this amp except for colour and the alpine part.
