anyone use liquid deadeners
Whoa....do not put expanding foam in your doors. Where exactly does the window roll down into?
Another thing is that expanding foad is pretty toxic when burned. Lets hope you don't have to do any welding on the car....ever.
As far as liquid deadeners are concerned, they do work. But...you have to understand that this type of deadening works on the mass loading principle. The more mass you add, the lower the resonant frequency. Pick up a can of spray deadener, then pick up a roll of mat type product...which one do you think applies more mass?
Personally, I've used both. But boy does it take a lot of the liquid stuff to compete with a sheet of B-quiet.
