i'm thinking using this amp since my hifonics bxi1206 recently died
the subs im running are a pair of re audio se 15" in a ported box
also the subs are dual 4 ohm...does anyone know wether the amp would
be stable at 1 ohm? or am i stuck running it at 4 ohms (450w each)
thanks

I think that amp is stable down to 2 ohms, but it makes no diff cause this amp should do full power at 4 ohms if I remember correctly and the diff between 2 and 4 ohms is miniscule. This amp will be happiest at 4 ohms and you'll be much better off running at 4 ohms sound quality wise.

I love it when manufacturers keep their old model information available.
Under the introduction (page 2) is says, and I'm paraphrasing, that the amp does have 1 ohm capability in stereo mode. Then according to the specs, it'll do 500W x 2 @ 1 ohm
Like Sasha said, you might have a better sound running bridged into 4 ohms, as opposed to stereo into 1 ohm.
