I know an owner of a good car audio shop in montreal that made me an incredible price for the DRZ-9255.
Cost + 10%
This was about 6 months ago.
I don't know if he is willing to do it anymore or with anybody but I am sure that he don't want me to write his name on the net (price protection).
Anyway, PM me and I let you know where if you promise me that you will not it at large (he is a nice guy and I don't want him having any trouble with Clarion or others dealers who carry the brand).
BTW, here the names of a couple of really nice shops:
Auto-Son (where I bought my Eclipse CD-8053 instead of the DRZ-9255) and got all my system installed. They are very professionnal and they are used to deal with rich customers (I am not) and they are expensive but you can find good deal on demo (they made me they Eclipse at cost).
They sell Eclipse, Alpine, Nakamichi, Boston, MB Quart...
Fortin Auto-Radio, well known for 20 years, they are the biggest car audio shop in Montreal. The owner is kind of a snob audiophile at the extreme limits. They sell Alpine, Pioneer, Nakamichi, Boston. PG, Kicker...
Precision Acoustic, small place owned by a very passionate guy. The best place for the best price on Focal speakers in town (as an exemple, they made a pair of Polyglass 165v2 for $450). They sell Alpine, Panasonic and FOCAL.
And of course, the secret place for the Clarion .
