no clue. I have caught rumor now from 3 reputable sources that Best Buy is going to shut down it's install bays come February.

 

Yeah, heard that one too, Bet Buy USA is turning the Car Bays into a service Bay for their new line of electric bikes they are selling

That is what I thought when I first heard about it as well

 

AVU Coquitlam shut down their installation bay at the end of May of this year. They send all of their car audio business over to SoundsGood. We take good care of their customers in return for taking good care of their customers. It's a win-win situation for all.

No. Every store has that automomy. Thy only have one corporate store, Coquitlam. AVU Maple Ridge got out of car a couple of years ago. AVU Surrey does it...kind of.
I think that the biggest issue has been finding good installers. It's not like it used to be. Most of the talent from back in the 90's has moved on to bigger and better things.
