i dont know steve at all, never met him, or talked to him, but id assume at this point, he probably doesnt give a rats *** about the truck and trailer...thats why you buy insurance. Great to see a competitor get his car back, and hopefully the theifs in jail.

on another note it looks like they have more search warrants now to start busting other chop shops.. hopefully the ring that was behind this goes down.

Matt @ Image Dynamics has set up a help Team Nutz Paypal fund if anyone is interested, just a few bucks will go a long way in situations like these. I think he deserves it for all he has contributed to our hobby in the past:

I saw and enjoyed the car at Memphis. What I realy don't understand is why would any one take it! Not that it wasn't a wonderfull car. It wasn't the car, it was the sum of the love labour ect. that makes or breaks an show piece. What good is it if it can't be shared and shown. I'm very pleased it has been returned to it's rightfull owner. I had concernes with Bryces and my car when we were down south, this shows none of us can be to carefull. Even the big boy's can be targetted.

The big boys are really a bigger target, they stick out more. My vehicle may not look like a comp vehicle, but a trailer with audionutz stickers all over it will. You can never be to cafeful.
It would be a crime to strip that car. But think of the low lifes that would do that, just to get, some amps, etc, to get hardly anything for on the street.
Remember, Gary Biggs Regal got stripped a few years ago. When was that, 97?

While its great news the car was returned...
I'm reading all of the stuff on other forums about this being such a close knit family and so on..
Tell me what support would someone from this forum have if their car was stolen at finals..
No mass internet campaigns... no APB's..
Great news to see the car returned, Steve is a very lucky man to be well known enough by fellow competitors to recieve all the help.
