Audiopipe 30001d mono?

Ok....I am thinking about getting the ap30001d. I know it is 2 ap15001d's strapped in the same case and I know that it can only be run 2 ohm minimum bridged @ 3000 rms or 4 ohm 2000 rms. Now if you run it in 2 channel mode it is the same thing just different impedence. eg. 2x 1 ohm is 1500 rms per or 2x 2 ohm is 1000 rms per. All that being said I want to know if when it is run in 2 channel mode if the speakers will recieve a mono signal or a stereo one? On the audiopipe website the catalog sheet has a diagram and it says " connections for 2 speakers mono ". Now is this true or will the signal be stereo? I want to hook up my 2 subs this way ( they are dual 4 ohm ) so I can get 1000 rms to each sub. I don't want to run 4 ohm mono, I would rather hook up like it show in the diagram if the signal will still be mono. I can't find info on this anywhere.

i have ran 2 of these amps ( they are now forsale ) and when we gain matched, once for the hell of it we tried to see if each channel was putting out the same.. and it was not. one channel was putting out a bit more power then the other one was.

Thats what I suspected. So the only way for me 2 run my 2 dual 4 ohms subs is to hook them up 4 ohm mono. Still the same thing but I would have to rewire inside the box. I have 2 orion hcca 10's that need some power. I can run up to 2000 watts about on my electrical. I was looking at the ap30001 or the hifonics bxi 2608d which is about 2100 rms or so. I have had hifonics before and liked them but I want a change. Do you think that the ap3000 would do 2000 rms @ 4 ohm mono and be worth it over the hifonics bxi2608d, 2100 rms @ 1 ohm?

we never had a problem with the audiopipes we had.

oh and some audiopipes will run at 1 ohm if you can support the power it needs.

Really? how come it doesn't say that when I go to purchase it. They better not take my money and then tell my it's back ordered.
