Avic-N2 + iPod connector Question
A friend of mine picked up an iPod connector for his N2 and when in use, it doesn't display the track title... or anything except "ipod0002" where the numbers represent elapsed track time. When you're searching through albums and what not, it will briefly show - on one line at the top left hand corner of the screen - the name of the albums... but that's it.
My question is... is this all the N2 is capable of doing for the iPod? Even with the regular cd decks, the song title shows, but not for the N2. Are there settings that we can adjust? To be honest, with all that screen space, and no control and no song title, it's doesn't make use of the N2's capabilities.

The AVIC units WILL show all titles listed from the iPod (track, album, artist, etc.). Because Pioneer made their iPod adapter compatible with units dating back to 1993, there are going to be subtle differences in each model.
Go to the iPod adapter manual to find which "group" your unit is in. This will then tell you how to change the display (for the AVIC-N1/N2 I believe it's the "band" button).
The AVIC unit will fully control your iPod & will show all the information in the display. Again, check your manual for full functionality listing. Have fun!
