B&W Dealer in Vancouver area

Who are the local B&W dealers? I have a 7" midbass from a 602 bookshelf set that I managed to blow up this morning

You're actually in luck. B&W is one of the few manufacturers who will sell parts. I live in Ottawa so I can't help you with a local dealer but if you have your receipt B&W will direct you where to go.

Thanks guys. I think I've visited HiFi before. They have a Nautilus there on display. Mmmmmm.....Nautilus.

Well, so it turns out my mid seems to be okay. I took it out last night and pushed gently on the cone and no rubbing. Hmmm, all felt fine. So I connected the speakers leads from the amp to another speaker. Annnnnnnnnnd nothing. DOH! So either one channel of my beloved Rockford DSM4080 let go or a channel of my vintage Alpine 3656 electronic xover let go. I could hear popping sounds on a certain song with a heavy bass line so I thought the speaker had given up, as balancing over to that sound releaved no more sound from the mid. Doesn't seem like it was the speaker after all. I had just elevated the xover output gains a little (3dB or less) just the night before and was enjoying the extra volume when I heard the noises. Guess I will be checking RCA jacks for voltage with the DMM.
