I had a stock deck in my 1990 pontiac transsport minivan, powering stock speakers, with a 100 watt 2 channel alpine amp that was wired through the rear cigarette lighter powering 2 12" Orion Cobalt woofers in a sealed box

decent JVC deck
cheap 5 1/2 Mobile Authority components + original Passat 4" and 150w Pioneer sub powered by 35x4 Kenwood amp
cheap 6 1/2 Mobile Authority components powered by ancient Sherwood XA-2105BP 2channel i got for free from a buddy --> still got it

ridiculously thin wiring...everything sounded quite crappy, didn't know much about car audio back then and had no money as well

94 Tercel with a sony explode deck, some random freebie 6x8 installed in the headrests.... and random shitty speakers in a random shitty box also (whish i was actually paied to take off somones hands... thats worse than free)
