Hey guys,
I'm in need of some advice. I ordered an American Bass VFL8 that should arrive this week. Finished up the enclosure over the weekend. .75 cuft net tuned @34 hertz. I have a JL Audio XD600/1 mono laying around, would this be a good match for my single sub or do you guys have a better suggestion. Thanks for any input in advance.

 

Is the AB vfl8 a dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm?

That JL is nice and puts out 600@2ohm. very efficient class D

should be a good fit considering all AB subs handle power easily.
Your sub is rated at 400rms

 

It's a dual 4 ohm subwoofer.

 

itll be wired to either 8 or 2 ohm final.

so running at 2ohm load you will see 600 watts rms from that JL . excellent fit together
