Bassworx Box

Hey guys just a general question, the bassworx box with the high gloss finish on the front, would I be able to sand it down and paint it a different color. Im not to sure if the paint would stick or not.

Well don't sand right down to the wood, just scuff the box up real good with 800 grit. Just use some regualr automotive primer, it will be adhereing to the clearcoat on the box. Just be sure to clean it very very well

Yeah i sanded down a little, there were some low spots where the other primer came through, but other than that, I will be going to get my primer, paint and clear tonight after work.
