If you have access to Stinger you should consider them as well. I've heard really good things about there batteries.
But I'm wondering, if you are not going to pursue competition 'seriously', why bother with such expensive batteries? Why not just some Yellow Tops or similar?

That's the thing with these batteries, of all the different brands, there is probably only a a half dozen manufacturers, that all use the same specs.
But with the power side of car audio this is always the case. Welding cable, copper flat bar, industrial crimp terminals, etc, etc. You can build a rock solid competition electrical system for literally a fraction of the cost of using brand names.
