FWIW I used to run Optimas but I've since started using Odyssey batteries. IMO they have better build quality and many more options. Pretty much anything from a 15lb car battery to an 80lb 2200A monster.

If you're still deciding, maybe take a look at Odyssey batts from Hawker. They're certainly more expensive, but worth checking out. They definitely have some very attractive features: drain/recharge without damage [400x], starter/deep cycle hybrid, low internal resistance (around 4 ohms, if not less), agm design (vibration resistant/proof), good lifespan (around 10 years) and so on. Ofcourse, this is from their literature.
I'll be putting one in my Concorde shortly.
However, from my research, you can't go wrong with the Orbital Exide from Canadian Tire.
(I've heard a rumour that Optima (or the makers of Optima) are rushing production and as such, quality is at a lower level than previous production. Whether this is true or not, who knows).
Do a search, as this topic has been discussed quite alot; it's how I made some of my decisions.
Cheers.

What is it that you are going to be running and with what size of wires?
Everything I', running is in my sig..with 4awg wire.
