Battery always dying?
Okay, I just got off the phone with Honda, and they want nothing to do with it. They said the test showed a parasidic load of .055, and their
normal is .020. They said it might be the alarm and it's not their problem.
I'm going to buy a yellow top hopefully that will solve the problem. How much should I spend on a yellow top? I've heard you can get them at Costco cheap.
Thanks

You said you got it multi-meter'ed with the deck turned on...
Did you have the system turned up to almost full, as well??
If you did not, you should do it again, crank the stereo, and then check the draw...
And dont bother with an Optima, save your money and go buy the biggest crappy tire eliminator you can fit, as Yuli said...

I had the same problem in my old cavalier...it turned out that my light on the roof was shutting off, but power was still going to it somehow and drained my batery...they pulled the wire and everything worked fine after that
Thanks for the Canadian Tire advice, I've done some research an the Eliminator Spiral Cell is the same as the Yellow to but only $150.
The car has started last 2 days but I never get a resting battery voltage of more than 11.60, my girlfriends car gets 12.40V so I guess I'll just take her battery she won't notice

is that voltage with the battery cables disconnected overnight??
it would be a good idea to have the battery load tested, but make sure it is fully charged first.

try disconnecting it for a night(after it's been running a while) and see if the voltage stays above 12v in the morning.if it stays up and starts the car, the batt is fine, and you have something drawing current. if not above 12v the battery is junk.
lbkc is right. get the battery load tested, and try unplugging it until the morn. Also is you mm is reading 11.somethng, then it could just be a crappy mm also(take that into consideration). the two test that lbkc stated will confirm that there is a good or bad battery. second test you alternator.this might be more work than expected but it may be the only way if your battery is good. chances are that somewhere in there the power is being drain. do a process of elimination. one night unplug all power to your alarm. and test batt voltage in the morn. next try the audio system. then do whatever else you got. unplug led if you think it's the led. these might be things you can try without having to pay $65 an hour to a shop that might or might not find it. if you wanna save money then go thru the tedious steps of process of elimination. start with the batt, then move on to each step until it corrects it self. That is no different then what a shop would do, or a friend would try. once you found the source then come online and post your progress, so everyone can make suggestions on what to try next.
you may even have to start with a good battery to do all these tests.
good luck
