Exclamation Beginner Quick Question-Downgrade subs?!

Ok

I'm installing my old system in a new car this weekend, and ive got a question.

I just realized that my subs (power acoustic) have a much higher RMS rating than the power that i am supplying them with.

Here are the specs:

2 Power Acoustik FUBR 12" Dual Voice Coil, 4ohm, 800 Watt RMS

powered by

1 Rockford Fosgate 601S, 150 Watt RMS @ 4 Ohm, 300 Watt RMS @ 2 Ohm, 600 Watt RMS @ 1 Bridged

So heres my question:

Should i Downsize my subs to 2 smaller subs? Can you all recomend any? Will this sound better?
How should i wire them the subs (ohm's)
Any other input would be very helpful

Thanks guys!

Ya I would keep the subs and upgrade the amp to 2 Power Acoustik REACT1-1800 if you can find them and run 1 amp per sub at 2 ohm, almost the same set up as I am running and with 1 amp and 1 FUBR 12', it hits really nice

Mmm down size why! Both can run at 4 ohms. Use what you have. So the subs don't get there max. Do you allways run you car at max speed?

Do you have the FUBR 12 or the FUBAR 12 I think you have the FUBAR 12 cause the FUBR 12 is 700w rms @ dual 2 ohm and the FUBAR 12 is 800w rms @ dual 4 ohm just making sure i got the right info before you hook them up so i can suggest how to wire them
