Ok guys here goes...

some general guidelines when buying your monitors first:

For headrests, the monitors do not have to be huge.. measure your headrest between the 2 smallest points... you will want atleast a centimeter ot 2 from those points in to get a nice clean finish. if the monitor is too close to the edges their is a good chance that you will have wrinkles.

Start out in determining your mounting, i opted to not use the shrouds as it was a cleaner looking install. you can use the mounting shrouds it covers up any mistakes you may have made around the cutout of the monitor... but they are usually pretty large and not very neat looking.

Take your monitor and trace the cutout into the headrest.. A sharp exacto knife or box cutter is the way to go when cutting out the foam and the material from the headrest...

Please remember to leave atleast 1-2 cm's of extra fabric overlapping the cutout as you can fold them in and it gives the monitors a clean finish around the edges. also keeps the monitors fit nice and snug. its ok if you cut your cutout a little smaller than the actual monitor as the foam will expand and hold the monitor in place more securely.

After you have cutout the foam and all the materials you will usually find 2 metal posts somewhere in the middle of the head rest. depending on the make of the car these poles may or may not be hollow... for a cleaner install i opted to drill into one of the poles and i fished the wire through the pole down into the seay. however i messed up one of my cables by doing this so please make sure you have enough space for your wires.

Otherwise you can make a small incision at the top of your seat between the headrest and the seat and fish the wires through... you will not be able to raise the headrest higher as a small piece of wire will be exposed however if this bothers you, you can set the headrest to the height you prefer and neatly tape the wire into place against one of the poles...

the hardest part about installing the monitors is getting them to stay in place without any wrinkles or creases in theadrest. go to home depot and get some plastic covered metal wire... its really easy to work with... their is usually mounting feet at the back of the monitor.. attach your wire to the mounting hinges and wrap around the metal poles behind the monitor. Pull tightly with a needle nose pliers and twist so the wire will stay in place... this gives the monitor a recessed look in the headrest.

If done right little if any wrinkles should appear... however if you do have some try stretching the top layer of fabric wether it be cloth, leather or vinyl into the cutout hole for the monitor and secure it in place... this way it has little slack to bunch up and wrinkle.

To run the wires through the seat was easy for me as the back of my seats are removable exposing the inside of the passenger and drivers seat... however some cars do no have this... in this case you can use the simple coat hanger and tape method and fish the wire down through the seat to the floor... from their you will be able to hide it under the carpet etc... The brain for my monitor is under my passengers seat so i just had to run the drivers side monitor wire to the right side.

like i said guys its pretty simple took me a few hours to get it looking right... but overall not too bad... i think i covered most of it... if i left anything out just ask and i'll be glad to help out..

Headrest Monitors are probably one of the easiest installs i've ever done. Really straight forward.
