hey dudes what's shakin'? Just want some opinions as to the best replacement battery for a stock chrysler 300m with a 1 kilowatt system. I don't want a 2nd battery and my original battery is due for a change. So, gimme some names and where I can get 'em in the GTA.

Low ESR deep cycles seem to be the way to go... but the stock battery is probably suficient IMO...

Increasing storage capacity usually gives greater stability at the cost of reduced average power available...

I'd worry about upgrading the charging system, not so much the battery.

I agree with Eli47,

A fresh factory battery or a red/yellow top with power & ground cables & alternator cables upgraded to 4AWG should do the job.

if you want a great battery for cheap just get a 1000ca battery from walmart. it will more than do the job you need. yellow tops are nice but they are alot more money and for you there would be no real differance unless you play your system with the car off alot in which case the battery would not die as fast since its a deep cycle

what is an ESR rating? they aren't deep cycle but that doesn't matter one bit. if you are running the car with the battery all you need is a nice powerful battery especially since he doesn't have much power at all. no point in spending a ton on an optima.
