Best part about having a daily setup
i always liked turning it up while travelling on a long trip to a show or whatever and just watching the miles slip away
its the only time outside of comps and testing i crank it up
and everytime you change your system you have to hear all your songs over again

In the small town I live by, people used to tell me that I had the loudest stereo (maybe 140 @ 37 in a trunk), so I had bragging rights lol. It just goes to show how many n00bs there were when they'd look to the trunk and say "that's just a 12?!". I turn it down at stop lights, but before I'm even across the intersection it's cranked. What I liked most were the lows that would pressurize the cabin as much as the highs, only did it on certain songs. I didn't like that not once did someone say "RE? Nice", because it was always "RE? Never heard of it".
Sounds like most of you are SPL boys. I used to be as well, but now I'm a purely SQ guy and love when someone sits in my jeep and I throw in some Dire Straits or some Carlos Santana, and their eyes open wide, and they say "it sounds like they are playing right in front of them".
Ok before I read threw all the posts I had to add this before I forgot. One night me and a couple friend went to a movie which lasted till around 1 in the morning. We stopped at Tim Hortons and there was about 20 old people ranging from 45 years old and over blairing music from an old blue jacked up truck.
Best part the music was fiddle music and old blue grass and stuff. Hermonica and all that!! And there was a bunch of them sitting in LAWN chairs. Thats right LAWN chairs around in the parking spot beside the trucking all shooting the blairing music.
OMG I want my future to be like that! HAHA I you not guys. IT was awsome. We drove by and I told them to "crank that sh*t" and they all gave me a thumbs up and me and my friends almost died. It was amazing!

I never built my daily system for high-end SQ or SPL, it was designed around my DVD HU. It was built around dual zone/surround sound, so people were more impressed that they could hear 5.1 in a car or that when I was up front listening to tunes, they could be in the back playing and hearing the N64/iPod/radio/dvd/cd lol
Anyways I (unlike most guys here it seams) blair the music pulling into town. I dont really blair it while driving unless on a Hwy during rush hour.
Best time was when I pulled up behind a dodge dakota, at a stop sign, blairing the beats and he kept looking in his mirror. Then he took off spinning the tires right after a stop sign spun out sideways over the curb on the other side of the road and busted a tire. Pulling up beside him and asking him if he was alright his face white as a ghost said "ya this is my house anyways". I bursted out laughing and took off. Funniest time ever. After the old people posted above.
Other time was at a school dance they were playing country so me and my friend went outside went across the road into the parking lot of a home depot and started blairing beats there. That was around 8:30. The dance started at 7. By 10 everyone was outside in the other parking lot dancing to my music. It was a blast. Even had a disco light hooked up threw an inverter lol.
