Just wondering where the cheapest place to by wire by the foot is. I need remote wire, some 8 g, and some 16G speaker wire.

Any suggestions?

try princess auto or home depot wal mart has some cheap scoshe kits or some vendors on this site usually have kits on sale

 

been looking for a place to buy 12 guage twisted speaker wire. not really too interested in paying .75-1.00 a foot especially when i need to do all 4 speakers in my car.

For power wires I usually use 4 guage welding cable from princess auto. Seems to work great but only comes in black. I think it's around $0.40/foot versus $1+ for "pro audio power wire". And you can fabricate lugs using copper toilet filler tube pipes (chrome plated w/ plastic grommet in one end) from home depot.

Someone clue me in if this is a bad idea but I can never seem to find 4 guage terminals/lugs when I need them, same with speaker baffles and other installation accessories.

buck or two has some 16g wire 25ft for 4$ why not eh as long as it works lol im gonna go get some this spring

how much does 0 guage wire usually cost?im gunna need like 10 feet to run from my battery to the trunk, and is negative wire the same price?cause i`ll need 2 feet of that too!
