I just picked up an older soundstream ref 500sx that needs help. It does work but there is a nasty thump/scratchy noise when turned on or off. And the output while its operating is weak, almost like its starving for power with bass notes.
Also power light flickers and you can see it "straining" to run.

Any help with a good repair location close to me would be great, Im in the mississauga area.

Yaaa, i just talked to s&s and imm let them do the repair. I have read some negative comments about them but i have also read alot of good so im gonna take my chances .

 

I messed up my amp twice and S&S took good care of everything and provided me with an estimate before any work was done.

x2 - Had them repair a friends Alpine W505 - it was fixed in 18 hours....now that's service.
