Yes I am aware that it has no cd player and I am ok with that. I don't listen to CD's anymore...it's the ipod now. Only thing I do not like is the fact that the Alpine does not have radio presets

The eclipse will cost me close to 400 bucks as the Alpine will be about 270. So it is a hard call.

The alpine does have radio presets, it just doesn't have the dedicated preset buttons across the bottom like most other decks. There is one button on the front you press then you use the scroll wheel to pick the preset.

if your looking at the 303, I'd say bite the bullet and jump to the 305. The screen is just so much nicer. If you haggle the salesman a bit you could definately get into the $300 range for sure.
