I think im going to go with the kicker with its own enclosure if i can find a dealer that sells it, but i have to first measure my trucks space behind the seat. I still havent received my truck yet, its on its way from alberta... but im pretty sure its a go.

Thanx for the help

I've heard nothing but good about the Kenwood ones, however I've only heard it in one application. It sounded very nice, but you do pay quite a bit for it.

There happens to be a sale on PE for the tang bands, I got mine from there but haven't hooked them up yet, they get very good reviews and they are hard to beat at that sale price.

The tang band I posted is the same as the ED but jet black "stealthier".
I don't think you can get the ED for as cheep as the TB on sale now at PE.

LOL. ED product is funny.

ANYWAYS.

The Kenwood subs are great, but not cheap.

The sub I'd be getting is the JL thin sub when it comes out in Apr or so. THAT will be a kick *** sub.... at any price.

Is there an alpine type S shallow sub? or does the type S just have shallow mounting requirements?

Just looked up that sub... looks kickass! I love jl audio subs aswell. I think i might just wait a couple months longer for the 13" version. It will be worth the wait.
